Ballardvale Black is black in color. Roasted malt character is caramel-like and chocolate-like, and smooth, not bitter. Coffee-like roasted barley and malt aromas are prominent. The addition of oatmeal adds a smooth, rich body to this beauty! ABV 7.8%, 16 oz $7.50.
